Walking through the halls of Davis you will come across many different people. Chances are you’ve crossed paths with Emma Hoffman, a senior with a contagious smile.

Emma loves Davis High because, “I love how supportive the teachers are.”

She agrees that being a senior is stressful, “Its tough, but lots of fun because I have a lot more classes that I enjoy. I feel a lot more dedicated this year but its stressful because after this year I have to leave because I graduate,”

Emma’s hobbies include painting, drawing, and ceramics, as well as karate and listening to K-pop. One thing most people don’t know about her is that she enjoys grappling which is a form of fighting.

As well as being a talented artist Emma is the president of the recently organized K-Club. Emma has been listening to K-Pop since ninth grade. When asked about what inspired her to start the K-Club Emma said, “I was inspired to start the K-Club because I was sick of my friends telling me that K-pop was nothing and it wasn’t important,” The K-Club has doubled its members since the start of the year and continues to gain members.

Emma’s plans for the future include becoming a professional artist or a teacher for students in resource.  One thing Emma’s hoping to get out of this year is, to get good grades and to have the K-club grow.
