The end of the school year is arriving quickly. Classes are slowly coming to an end with everyone trying to get their grades back up, and of course, seniors are sitting through each class counting down the days until graduation. This year graduation is on Thursday June 2nd in Dee Events Center Weber State at 9 am.

Most times students start high school having no idea what to expect. This year the seniors decided to share a few tips on what they thought was most important during their three years at school.

“I think the most important thing you do have high school are the friendships and memories you make that you can hold on to,” senior Elaina Olsen said.

According to the seniors, one of the most important things on the list to remember throughout high school is to make lots of friends and to try to have lots of fun. One way to do this is to find something you like and to join a club, team or sport and just get involved. This is a great way to meet new people and it really helps make lasting friendships and fun moments that can be cherished throughout the years.

“I’m personally going to really miss band and marching band and all the friends that I have made,” Olsen said.

Sometimes going through the school year can be really stressful. With so many things on our to do list seniors give some advice on what the important things are to remember.

“One thing to remember is that on the first week of the semester you don’t have to be on time you just tell your teacher that you didn’t know where there class was,” senior Parker Edgington said.

High school is a great place to make lasting friendships and to prepare to go to college. To make high school a good experience it’s important to get involved and to not be scared to meet new people and make new friendships.

“Remember to just hang in there and do your best and push through the hard days because school will end,” Olsen said.
