Importance of Emergency Preparedness

Emergencies can happen at any time and we need to be ready for them. Just a couple of hours of your time could end up saving your life. Proper disaster preparedness is about much more than giving emergency officials the tools they need. We have fire drills, earthquake drills, lock-in and out drills, all to help prepare our students for the worst possible outcome. We all need to take it seriously to prepare for anything that could happen. The Davis High administration is doing there job by having the drills but they are not any good if we don’t participate. If you don’t know what you are doing in an emergency you could endanger not only your life, but the lives of others.
