The boys on the school basketball team made it to the state semi finals and went head to head with Brighton High School. They boys started the game off far behind and made a great comeback in the second half of the game. They even got ahead by one point. Sadly, one of the boys fouled a Brighton player, and Brighton pulled ahead with two free throws.

The boys basketball team lost the state semi-finals, and Brighton High took the game by two points. Despite the loss, the coach is proud of the team. “They play great defense, they play hard, they represent the school really well,” Coach Sims said. Brighton played against Layton for the state title, and Layton emerged victorious.
