Davis High Takes on the Utah Rush Wheelchair Basketball Team
November 11, 2014
Every year the school puts on a special basketball game fundraiser for the basketball team. Davis High School’s administration, students and faculty compete in wheel chairs against the Utah Rush Wheelchair basketball team.
“It was really lively and exciting to be at,” KJ Bishop, senior, said.
This event allows for students and all who come to see the administration and faculty in a different light. It also creates a fun atmosphere to raise money for the basketball team and show support for our school.
“It was way funny to watch Kathy Evans try and play against all these big kids, because she is so little. It was just a really fun environment,” Bishop said.
This fundraiser is a great way to spend your Monday night and have fun with the entire school, along with the Utah Rush Wheelchair basketball team, and a great way to show school spirit.
