Jesse Wade signs with Gonzaga at only seventeen
Junior Jesse Wade has just signed to play basketball with Gonzaga University. This 6’1″ point guard is just 17 years old. “Gonzaga was ranked number one last year in basketball, and I hope I can help carry on that tradition in 4 years, after I serve my LDS mission,” Wade said.
Outstanding point guards have played for Gonzaga such as John Stockton, and Gonzaga also plays in the same conference as Brigham Young University
Wade has played basketball a long time and has worked very diligently to be able to sign for Gonzaga. “Jesse spends a lot of time working on his game outside of practice, he’s a pretty complete player that can handle the ball, shoot the ball, and he’s a good defender,” Head Basketball Coach, Welk said. Jesse will start playing at Gonzaga in 2017, and he can’t express his excitement enough.
