Davis Soccer finished the season with a record of 10-2 placing themselves number 1 in 6A and with their recent win making them Region Champs!

In an interview with Rhett Neuenswander, he was asked what are the main goals for the playoffs are, he responded with, “I think for the playoffs we just need to focus on one game at a time and work hard.”

Neuenswander is one of the extremely talented young men that make the Davis High Soccer team so great. With the team’s hard work and dedication this season they have been able to make a very successful season out of it.

Neuenswander was also asked what the biggest strengths of the team are he said, “Our biggest strengths are just working together and fighting for each other. Doing what’s best for the team and enjoying the game.”

For a team to be successful the number one thing is working together. Teamwork is key for success in any sport and the Davis Soccer team really shows it. With the great chemistry the team withholds they have been able to dominate other teams while having an undefeated record at home.

Lastly Neuenswander stated, “What I’ve gotten out of this season so far is that it is more than just soccer. You’re a team and you work hard together and have fun together. You make great friendships you might not have otherwise if it wasn’t for this experience.”

This was really well said by Neuenswander. No matter the outcome of the game you will win or lose together as a team. Building those friendships is extremely important for any team and being on the team is a great way to do so.
